An Incentivized Program

It Pays To Read

The Peaches and Sourcream Children’s Foundation summer reading rewards program is a virtual program held each summer for four weeks. It is the organization’s premier event. It‘s an accelerated reading program created specifically for children in grades kindergarten thru 6th —designed to combat summer slide and foster the joy of reading and writing.
Summer Slide

“ is the loss of academic skills and knowledge over the course of summer vacation.”  Chosen students receive monetary incentives and other rewards commemorating their accomplishments.
